Job description
Job Title: Software Engineer
We are looking for a Software Engineer who specializes in implementing features, including new functionalities, bug fixes, and change requests. This role requires active involvement in development, code review, and support to ensure seamless integration and high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement specified features, adhering to coding best practices and quality standards.
- Seamlessly integrate changes into the existing codebase, ensuring that new functionalities or fixes do not disrupt current features.
- Perform unit and functional tests locally to validate the code before integration.
- Carry out integration tests to confirm that new functionalities operate correctly within existing systems.
- Submit code reviews via Azure DevOps, detailing the changes and tests conducted.
- Prepare development builds that incorporate updated code and set up the testing environment on virtual machines. Provide assistance to testers during the testing phase, addressing questions and helping reproduce issues.
- Manage and resolve bugs discovered during testing, prioritize them, and work closely with the team to implement effective solutions.
- Engage in regression testing to ensure new features or changes do not negatively impact existing functionalities.
Qualification
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with the .NET framework and .NET Core, enabling the development of robust and scalable applications.
- Expertise in C# and VB.NET programming languages, allowing for efficient code writing and problem-solving within the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Solid experience with ASP.NET for building web applications and the Entity Framework for managing data access, ensuring high performance and maintainability of applications.
- Understanding of microservices design principles, enabling the development of modular and scalable applications that can be easily maintained and updated.
- Ability to work with JavaScript and TypeScript for developing interactive and dynamic front-end components.
- Proficient in using Angular for building responsive front-end applications and NestJS for creating efficient and scalable server-side applications.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues, ensuring the smooth operation and high quality of the software.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team, facilitating collaboration and the successful delivery of projects.
